Uncertainty about Christian broadcasts in Mali

As a result of a military coup in Mali, West Africa on Thursday, all borders and airport are closed. The national television is occupied by the military. Right now, it’s unclear whether ACCM, 3xM’s partner in Mali, will be able to continue to broadcast their Christian television programs.

50% of the population of Mali is analphabetic. To them television is the main source of information. This is why the military have occupied the buildings of the national television and radio.

“ The situation here is very unclear and we don’t know if we can continue our broadcasts”, according to our partner. 3xM expects to get a clearer picture of the situation in Mali in the coming days.
